The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center was well represented during Friday’s unprecedented Stand Up To Cancer prime time special on all three major networks.

CBS4

  • Dr. W. Jarrard Goodwin, director of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, taped a special message about the broadcast and Sylvester’s commitment to fighting cancer. – AIRED JUST BEFORE 8 P.M., ADJACENT TO SU2C.
  • Dr. Eckhard Podack, professor and chairman of microbiology and immunology, and Dr. Luis Raez, associate professor and co-leader of the Lung Cancer Site Disease Group at Sylvester were featured in a report on CBS4 News for their work on a lung cancer vaccine.  The story first aired within Friday’s Stand Up To Cancer prime time special, and has now been picked up by another CBS station. – AIRED WITHIN SU2C. http://www.kauz.com/news/27935004.html
