Recognizing the important role emotional health can have on the body’s ability to fight disease, Sylvester created the Courtelis Center for Psychosocial Oncology. The Courtelis Center helps you explore ways to cope with life-threatening illness – physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually – by offering a wide range of services including:

• Acupuncture
• Educational classes
• Group counseling
• Individual and family counseling
• Pastoral counseling
• Psychiatric medication consultations
• Relaxation, meditation, and guided imagery
• Volunteer services

Services are also available upon request at the Sylvester at Deerfield Beach location.
